Most Practice Apps Assume You Already Know
What You Are Doing. This One Does Not.

The Problem

Yoga and wellness apps offer libraries of poses and sequences. What they do not offer is a guide that meets you where you actually are — which for a beginner is often confused, inconsistent, and searching. They hand you a technique. They do not ask how you feel.

The Sadhana Guide is built on a different premise. Before it recommends anything, it asks you to arrive. To place a hand on your heart. To take a breath. To describe — in plain language, without checkboxes — what is actually present in you right now. Then it reasons from that.

The right practice is not the most advanced practice. It is the one that meets you where you actually are.

The Core Conviction

At the heart of this tool is a single philosophical anchor: breath is what makes you conscious. It is the one thread connecting body, mind, and awareness in every moment. Every tradition, every technique, every practice — at its deepest level — is about the breath.

This agent does not teach that truth through instruction. It teaches it through direct experience. After every session, the practitioner is invited to reflect on what happened with their breath — through seven sensory dimensions: sight, sound, touch, smell, taste, space, and vibration. What they write becomes the longitudinal record of their own awakening.

How It Works

The guide is powered by Anthropic Claude running through a LangChain deep agent on a Node.js and TypeScript backend. When you describe your state, the agent draws from multiple contemplative lineages — Vedic, Buddhist, Zen, Tantric, Kashmiri Shaivism, Isha — and selects one specific tradition-grounded practice suited to what you have shared. It does not match keywords. It reasons about meaning.

Your sessions are stored in a PostgreSQL database on this server. Over time, the guide learns your patterns. After two or more sessions, you may request a pattern insight report — a warm, teacher-like analysis of your practice history evaluated against six KPIs: Practice Consistency, Emotional Range, Breath Awareness Depth, Sensory Activation, Emotional Shift Rate, and Transcendence Markers. The last KPI exists in no other wellness application.

This is not a wellness app. It is a structured instrument for self-knowledge — built to demonstrate that AI agents can carry genuine philosophical depth, not just functional utility.

What It Does Not Do

This tool is not a substitute for a living teacher, a lineage, or a committed practice container. It will not initiate you. It will not replace the transmission that happens in silence between a practitioner and their guide. What it will do is give a complete beginner a starting point — and give a returning practitioner a mirror to their own patterns.

This application does not ask for your password or your payment information. It asks for your name and your honest account of how you feel. You are welcome to proceed.

Infrastructure

This application runs on a self-hosted Ubuntu server in Helsinki, Finland, operated under Safe Passage Strategies LLC. It is served over HTTPS with a certificate issued by Let's Encrypt. All session data remains on infrastructure we own and control. No third-party analytics. No advertising. No data sharing.
